to disbelief, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and rebuilt it upon the foundation of Abraham; for when Quraysh built the House, they shortened it, and I would have made a back entrance for it."

Narrated by al-Bukhari (2/180), Muslim in (al-Hajj, h/398), al-Nasa'i (5/215), Ahmad (6/57), Ibn Khuzaymah (2742), al-Bukhari in "al-Tarikh al-Kabir" (6/378), 'Abd al-Razzaq (9157), and al-Tamhid (10/48).

234: 1242: Therein: 1: Al-Qurtubi said regarding the saying of the Almighty: "You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing," these are two of the names of Allah the Almighty, and we have already addressed them in the book "al-Asna fi Sharh Asma' Allah al-Husna."

: 1249: We taught it: 2: Al-Qurtubi said regarding the saying of the Almighty: "And show us our rites (Manasik)," meaning show us with physical vision, so it takes two objects, and it is said: it is from the vision of the heart. For the speaker, it would be necessary for the verb to extend to three objects.

Ibn 'Atiyyah said: It is distinguished by the fact that it is found modified by the Hamza from the vision of the heart to two objects, like the non-modified one. Huta'it ibn Ya'far, the brother of al-Aswad ibn Ya'far, said:

Show me a generous man who died of thinness, for I see what you see, or a stingy man who lived forever.

235: 1250: Did you know: 1: Tafsir 'Abd al-Razzaq: (1/79).

: 1251: That: 2: Tafsir Mujahid: (1/89).

And Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/183).

236: 1254: Abraham: 1: Authentic. Narrated by al-Hakim (2/418, 600) who said: This is a Hadith with an authentic chain of narration, and al-Dhahabi agreed with him. Also in his authentication. Also found in Ithaf (7/144), al-Tabarani (18/253), al-Nubuwwah (1/83), and Ibn 'Asakir.
