she would take it and press it against her chest. She was searching for her child, and when she found him, she embraced him and suckled him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do you think that this woman would cast her child into the fire, while she is able not to cast it?" They replied: "No, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Allah is more merciful to His servants than this woman is to her child."

253: 1354: The Kaaba: 1: Narrated by al-Hakim: (2/269) from the Book of Tafsir, and he said: "Authentic in chain of transmission, and they did not record it," and al-Dhahabi agreed with him.

254: 1364: That: 1: Ibn Kathir said: Allah commanded facing the Kaaba from all directions of the earth—east, west, north, and south. Nothing is excluded from this except for voluntary prayers during travel, for he may pray while his body and heart are directed toward the Kaaba. Likewise, in the state of fighting in battle, one prays in whatever state he is in.

Likewise, whoever is unaware of the direction of the Qibla may pray according to his best effort (ijtihad), even if he is mistaken in the matter itself, because Allah Almighty does not charge a soul except with that within its capacity.
