of their Islam. This indicates that the hypocrites are disbelievers.
And in His saying: "That is because they believed and then disbelieved" is conclusive evidence. The verse indicates that disbelief occurs through everything that contradicts affirmation and knowledge, even if faith does not exist except through "La ilaha illa Allah" (there is no god but Allah), exclusive of other sayings and actions, except in prayer.
