2210: 12050: And whoever follows me: 1: Ibn Kathir said regarding the interpretation of this verse: Allah, the Exalted, says to His Messenger, peace be upon him, to both of the two weighted ones (al-thaqalayn)—the jinn and mankind—commanding him to inform the people that this is his path, meaning: his way, his course, and his sunnah, which is the call to the testimony that there is no god but Allah alone, having no partner. He calls to Allah by it with insight regarding that, and with certainty and proof. He and everyone who follows him calls to what the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, called to, with insight, certainty, and rational and legal proof.
