: 7022: And swine: 2: Narrated by al-Tirmidhi: (H. 3061). Al-Tirmidhi said: "This hadith has been narrated by Abu 'Asim and more than one person from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba, from Qatada, from Khallas, from 'Ammar ibn Yasir as a mawquf (stopped at the Companion) report, and we do not know it as a marfu' (elevated) report except from the hadith of al-Hasan ibn Qaza'a." See: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/116).

1246: 7025: And loaves: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/117).

: 7026: The food: 2: The previous source.

: 7027: And sisters: 3: Tafsir 'Abd al-Razzaq: (1/193).

: 7029: The worlds: 4: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/117).

1247: 7029: My God: 1: Addition from Ibn Kathir: (2/118).

1248: 7030: The Table (al-Ma'ida): 1: See: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/119). Al-Qurtubi said: The Table is the tray upon which food is placed. Qutrub said: It is not called a ma'ida unless there is food upon it; if there is no food, it is called a khwan. It is a fa'ila form derived from "mada 'abdahu" (when one feeds or gives to his servant), so the ma'ida provides (tamuddu) what is upon it; that is, it gives.

: 7033: A thing: 2: Ibn Kathir said: "That which the majority hold is that it was revealed."

1249: 7037: After them: 1: Imam Ahmad said: 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Salama ibn Kuhayl, from 'Imran ibn al-Hakam, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Quraysh said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "Invoke your Lord for us that He may turn al-Safa into gold for us, and we will believe in you." He said: "And will you do that?" They said: "Yes." He said: "So he invoked, and Gabriel came to him and said: Your Lord sends you peace and says: If you wish, I will turn al-Safa into gold for them, but whoever disbelieves among them after that, I will punish him with a punishment I have not inflicted upon anyone among the worlds; or, if you wish, I will open for them the door of repentance and mercy." He said: "Rather, the repentance and mercy."

See: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/119).
