and He created the mountains in it on Sunday, and He created the trees on Monday, and He created the detestable [things] on Tuesday, and He created the light on Wednesday, and He scattered the animals in it on Thursday, and He created Adam, peace be upon him, after the afternoon of Friday, at the end of creation, in the last hour of the hours of Friday, between the afternoon and the night."

1260: 7086: And the light then: 1: Ibn 'Atiyyah said regarding 'then' (thumma) that it indicates the ugliness of the disbelievers' action, for the meaning is: that the creation of the heavens and the earth has been established, its signs have shone, and His blessing in that has become clear; then, after all that, they equated [others] with their Lord. This is like saying: O so-and-so, I have given to you, honored you, and done good to you, then you insult me. If the conjunction were by 'wa' (and) in this or its like, the reproach would not be as binding as it is with 'thumma' (then). And Allah knows best.
1261: 7091: Death: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (2/123).
: 7097: The human: 2: al-Dahhak said: "An appointed term" regarding death, "and an appointed term [named] with Him" is the term for the Resurrection. So according to this, the meaning is: He decreed an appointed term, and He informed you that you remain until death, but He did not inform you of the term of the Resurrection.
