Translation · EN

1370: 7783: Qubulan (face-to-face): 2: His statement: "Qubulan" means face-to-face, according to Ibn Abbas, Qatadah, and Ibn Zayd. It is the recitation of Nafi' and Ibn 'Umar. It is also said to mean: observing directly, after they believed. Muhammad ibn Yazid said: "Qubulan" may mean 'from the direction of,' as you would say: 'I have a claim from the direction of (qibala) so-and-so,' so "qubulan" is an accusative of place (zarf).

1373: 7794: Sincere advisors: 1: Ibn Kathir said: In any case, the correct view is what has preceded from the Hadith of Abu Dharr that: 'Indeed, among mankind are devils,' and the devil of every thing is its defiant one. For this reason, it is stated in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The black dog is a devil." Narrated by Muslim (Prayer, H/265), Abu Dawud (Prayer, Chapter 110), al-Tirmidhi (H/338), al-Nasa'i (Qiblah, Chapter 7), Ibn Majah (H/952), Ahmad (5/149, 151, 156, 160), al-Bayhaqi (2/274), Ibn Khuzaymah (830, 831), Abu 'Awanah (2/47), al-Kanz (19214, 19236-19238), al-Qurtubi (6/67), Ibn Abi Shaybah (1/281), Ibn 'Asakir in 'al-Tarikh' (3/78), and Ibn 'Adi in 'al-Kamil' (1/392, 6/2356).
