The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Every person of Paradise sees his seat in the Fire and says, 'Had it not been for Allah guiding me,' so it becomes a form of gratitude for him; and every person of the Fire sees his seat in Paradise and says, 'Had it not been for Allah guiding me,' so it becomes a source of anguish for him." Narrated by Ahmad (2/512), al-Hakim (2/435), al-Manthur (3/85, 5/333), al-Tabari (8/134), Ibn Kathir (3/412, 7/101, 226), al-Khatib (5/24), and al-Majma' (10/399), who attributed it to Ahmad and stated its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
