of knowledge and guidance is like abundant rain, which fell upon a land; some of it was fertile, accepting the water, producing herbage and much grass, and some of it was dry [barren] lands that held the water, by which Allah benefited the people, so they drank, irrigated, and cultivated." They said: We bear witness that you have conveyed and counseled. So he began to raise his finger to the heaven and point it down toward them, saying: "O Allah, bear witness, O Allah, bear witness."
