(5/126), al-Fath (4/445), al-Tabarani (17/135), al-Bidayah (1/244), and Ibn Kathir (3/385).

Shaykh al-Albani declared it weak. Da'if Ibn Majah (H/533).

: 16842: He cast it: 2: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (3/386).

2968: 16855: Years: 1: In this verse is the offering of a guardian his daughter to a man, and this is an established sunnah. The righteous man of Madyan offered his daughter to the righteous man of the Children of Israel, and Umar ibn al-Khattab offered his daughter Hafsah to Abu Bakr and Uthman, and the woman who offered herself presented herself to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It is therefore virtuous for a man to offer his female ward, or for a woman to offer herself to a righteous man, following the example of the righteous predecessors.

See, footnote number "1" before the previous one.

: 16856: And the food of his stomach: 2: Similar to it. Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (3/387).

2670: 16864: And fulfilled both of them: 1: Al-Humaydi (535) and Lisan (1/316).

Al-Bazzar also narrated it, but he said: From Ibn Abbas, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

2971: 16868: The Samiri: 1: Al-Manthur: (6/408) and Ibn Kathir (3/387).

: 16871: The palm: 2: The previous source.

: 16871: A fire: 3: The saying of the Almighty: "He perceived a fire from the side of the Mount," the verse: The discussion on this preceded in "Ta-Ha."
