His saying: Falamma jawazahu huwa wa-alladhina amanu ma'ahu (So when he and those who believed with him had crossed it): 2/475. His saying: Wa-alladhina amanu ma'ahu (And those who believed with him): 2/475. His saying: Qalu la taqata lana al-yawma bi-Jaluta wa-junudihi (They said, "There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers"): 2/476. His saying: Wa-junudihi (And his soldiers): 2/476. His saying: Annahum mulaqu Allahi (That they were to meet Allah): 2/476. His saying: Kam min fi'atin qalilatin ghalabat fi'atan kathiratan (How many a small company has overcome a large company): 2/476. His saying: Bi-idhni Allahi (By the permission of Allah): 2/477. His saying: Wa-Allahu ma'a al-sabirina (And Allah is with the patient): 2/477. His saying: Wa-lamma barazu li-Jaluta wa-junudihi qalu rabbana afrigh (And when they went forth to Goliath and his soldiers, they said, "Our Lord, pour"): 2/477. His saying: Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran (Our Lord, pour upon us patience): 2/478. His saying: Wa-thabbit aqdamana (And plant firmly our feet): 2/478. His saying: Wa-unsurna 'ala al-qawmi al-kafirina (And give us victory over the disbelieving people): 2/478. His saying: Fa-hazamuwhum bi-idhni Allahi wa-qatala Dawudu Jaluta (So they defeated them by the permission of Allah, and David killed Goliath): 2/478. His saying: Wa-atahu Allahu al-mulka (And Allah gave him the kingship): 2/479. His saying: Al-mulka wa-al-hikmata wa-'allamahu mimma yasha'u (The kingship and wisdom, and taught him from that which He wills): 2/480. His saying: Wa-lawla daf'u Allahi al-nasa ba'dahum bi-ba'din (And if it were not for Allah checking [some] people by means of others): 2/480. His saying: La-fasadat al-ardu (The earth would have been corrupted): 2/481. His saying: Wa-lakinna Allaha dhu fadlin 'ala al-'alamina (But Allah is full of bounty to the worlds): 2/481. His saying: Tilka ayatu Allahi natluha 'alayka bi-al-haqqi (These are the verses of Allah; We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth): 2/481. His saying: Wa-innaka la-mina al-mursalina (And indeed, you are from among the messengers): 252: 2/481. His saying: Ayatu Allahi (The verses of Allah): 2/481. His saying: Natluha 'alayka bi-al-haqqi (We recite them to you in truth): 2/482. His saying: Tilka al-rusulu (These are the messengers): 253: 2/482. His saying: Faddalna ba'dahum 'ala ba'din (We have favored some of them over others): 2/482. His saying: Minhum man kallama Allahu (Among them were those to whom Allah spoke): 2/483. His saying: Wa-rafa'a ba'dahum darajatin (And He raised some of them in degrees): 2/483.
