His saying: Wa-huwa al-'aliyyu al-'adhimu (And He is the Most High, the Most Great): 2/492. His saying: La ikraha fi al-dini (There is no compulsion in the religion): 256: 2/493. His saying: Qad tabayyana al-rushdu min al-ghayyi (The right course has become clear from the wrong): 2/495. His saying: Fa-man yakfur bi-al-taghuti wa-yu'min bi-Allahi (So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah): 2/495. His saying: Wa-yu'min bi-Allahi (And believes in Allah): 2/496. His saying: Fa-qad istamsaka bi-al-'urwati al-wuthqa (Has grasped the most trustworthy handhold): 2/496. His saying: La infisama laha (With no break in it): 2/496. His saying: Allahu waliyyu alladhina amanu yukhrijuhum min al-dzulumati ila al-nuri (Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light): 257: 2/497. His saying: Wa-alladhina kafaru (And those who disbelieve): 2/497. His saying: Awliya'uhumu al-taghutu (Their allies are Taghut): 2/497. His saying: Yukhrijunahum min al-nuri ila al-dzulumati (They take them out of the light into darknesses): 2/497. His saying: Ula'ika as-habu al-nari hum fiha khaliduna (Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally): 2/498. His saying: Alam tara ila alladhi hajja Ibrahima fi rabbihi (Have you not considered the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord): 258: 2/498. His saying: An atahu Allahu al-mulka (Because Allah had given him kingship): 2/498. His saying: Idh qala Ibrahimu rabbiya alladhi yuhyi wa-yumitu qala ana uhyi wa-umitu qala Ibrahimu fa-inna Allaha ya'ti bi-al-shamsi min al-mashriqi fa'ti biha min al-maghribi (When Abraham said, "My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death," he said, "I give life and cause death." Abraham said, "Indeed, Allah brings up the sun from the east, so bring it from the west"): 2/498. His saying: Fa-buhita alladhi kafara (So the disbeliever was overcome [by astonishment]): 2/499. His saying: Aw ka-alladhi marra 'ala qaryatin (Or [consider such as] the one who passed by a township): 259: 2/500. His saying: 'Ala qaryatin (By a township): 2/500. His saying: Wa-hiya khawiyatun (And it had fallen into ruin): 2/500. His saying: 'Ala 'urushiha (Upon its roofs): 2/501. His saying: Anna yuhyi hadhihi Allahu ba'da mawtiha (How will Allah bring this to life after its death?): 2/501. His saying: Fa-amatahu Allahu mi'ata 'amin (So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years): 2/501. His saying: Thumma ba'athahu (Then He revived him): 2/502. His saying: Qala kam labithta qala labithtu yawman aw ba'da yawmin (He said, "How long have you remained?" He said, "I have remained a day or part of a day"): 2/502.
