His saying: Ka-da'bi ali Fir'awn (As was the custom of the people of Pharaoh): 11: 2/603. His saying: Wa-alladhina min qablihim kadhdhabu bi-ayatina fa-akhadhahumu Allahu bi-dhunubihim (and those before them, [who] denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins): 2/603. His saying: Wa-Allahu shadid al-'iqab (And Allah is severe in penalty): 2/604. His saying: Qul lilladhina kafaru satughlabuna wa-tuhsharuna ila Jahannam (Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell"): 12: 2/604. His saying: Wa-bi'sa al-mihad (and wretched is the resting place): 2/604. His saying: Qad kana lakum ayat (You have already had a sign): 13: 2/604. His saying: Fi fi'atayn iltaqata (in the two armies that met): 2/605. His saying: Fi'atun tuqatilu fi sabil Allah (one army fighting in the cause of Allah): 2/605. His saying: Fi sabil Allah (in the cause of Allah): 2/605. His saying: Wa-ukhra kafirah (and another [army] of disbelievers): 2/605. His saying: Yarawnahum mithlayhim ra'y al-'ayn (seeing them with their [own] eyes as twice their number): 2/606. His saying: Wa-Allahu yu'ayyidu bi-nasrihi man yasha' (and Allah supports with His victory whom He wills): 2/606. His saying: Inna fi dhalika la-'ibratan li-uli al-absar (Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision): 2/606. His saying: Zuyyina lil-nasi hubb al-shahawati min al-nisa'i wal-banin (Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire—of women and sons): 14: 2/606. His saying: Min al-nisa'i wal-banin (of women and sons): 2/607. His saying: Wal-qanatir al-muqantarah (and the heaped-up sums): 2/607. His saying: Al-muqantarah (heaped-up): 2/609. His saying: Min al-dhahabi wal-fidah (of gold and silver): 2/610. His saying: Wal-khayl (and horses): 2/610. His saying: Al-musawwamah (branded): 2/610. His saying: Wal-an'am wal-harth (and livestock and tilled land): 2/611. His saying: Dhalika mata'u al-hayati al-dunya wa-Allahu 'indahu husn al-ma'ab (That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return): 2/611. His saying: Qul a-unabbi'ukum bi-khayrin min dhalika lilladhina ittaqaw 'inda rabbihim (Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be with their Lord"): 15: 2/612.
