It is narrated that this sound deduction occurred from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari and his wife. For he entered upon her, and she said to him: "O Abu Ayyub, did you hear what was said?" He said: "Yes! And that is a lie! Would you, O Mother of the Believers, ever do that?" She said: "No, by Allah!" He said: "Then Aisha, by Allah, is better than you." The wife of Abu Ayyub said: "Yes." This action and its like is what Allah the Almighty blamed the believers for, as they did not all perform it.

: 14248: Truthful: 2: In the hadith: From Thawban, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Do not harm the servants of Allah, do not reproach them, and do not seek out their faults; for whoever seeks out the fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will seek out his fault until He exposes him within his own house."
