2581: 14441: And encouraged them towards it: 1: It is stated in the Sunan from more than one source that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Marry the affectionate and the prolific, for I will be boasting of your numbers before the nations on the Day of Resurrection."

2582: 14447: For their private parts: 1: The majority of scholars are of the opinion that the master has the right to compel his slave and his bondwoman into marriage; this is the view of Malik, Abu Hanifah, and others. Malik said: "This is not permissible if it results in harm." Something similar is reported from al-Shafi'i, then he said: "The master does not have the right to compel the slave into marriage." Al-Nakha'i said: They used to compel the slaves into marriage and lock the doors upon them.
