2707: 15252: Disbelieving: 1: In the authentic hadith recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his companions one day following rain that had fallen upon them during the night: "Do you know what your Lord has said?" They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Some of My servants have awakened this morning as believers in Me and some as disbelievers. As for him who said, 'We have received rain by the grace and mercy of Allah,' he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars. And as for him who said, 'We have received rain by the influence of such-and-such star,' he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars." Narrated by al-Bukhari (5/155), al-Fath (7/439), Ibn Kathir (6/125), al-Manthur (5/239), al-Nubuwwah (4/131), and al-Muwatta' (192).

I said to him: 'What should I do in that situation, may Allah make me a ransom for you?' He said: "Keep to your house, control your tongue, take what you recognize (as good), leave what you disapprove of, concern yourself with your own affairs, and leave the affairs of the common people."
