: 15884: The worlds: 2: The saying of the Almighty: "Do you approach the males among the worlds?" They used to have intercourse with them in their anuses, and they used to do that with strangers, as has already been mentioned in "Al-A'raf".

2809: 15890: His wife: 1: Ibn Kathir added: She was an evil old woman who remained and perished along with those who remained of her people. This is as Allah the Almighty reported about them in the surahs of "Al-A'raf" and "Hud", and likewise in "Al-Hijr" when Allah commanded him to travel by night with his family, except for his wife, and that they should not look back when they heard the cry as it descended upon his people; so they were patient for the command of Allah and persisted. Allah sent down upon those others the punishment that encompassed their group and rained upon them stones of layered baked clay.

: 15900: The thicket (Al-Ayka): 3: The Hafiz Ibn 'Asakir narrated in the biography of Shu'ayb, by way of Muhammad ibn 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah, from his father, from Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham, from Hisham ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn Abi Hilal, from Rabi'ah, from Yusuf, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the people of Madyan and the companions of the Thicket are two nations to whom Allah sent the Prophet Shu'ayb, peace be upon him."
Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (3/345).
Ibn Kathir said: "This is strange (gharib), and there is scrutiny regarding its attribution (raf'). The more likely case is that it is stopped (mawquf) at the Companion, and the correct view is that they are one nation described in each passage by something [different]."
