2436 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding [the verse] "...so He may multiply it for him many times over," he said: "This multiplication, no one knows what it is."
[His saying: Many]
2437 - Yahya b. 'Abdak al-Qazwini narrated to us, Hassan b. Hassan reported to us, Abu al-Sabbah b. 'Abd al-Ghafur reported to us, from Hammam b. al-Harith, from Ka'b, he said: A man came to Ka'b and said: "I heard a man saying: 'Whoever recites Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad once, Allah builds for him ten million chambers of pearl and chrysolite in Paradise.' Should I believe this?" He said: "Yes. Are you surprised by that? Yes, and twenty million, and thirty million, and an amount that no one can count except Allah." Then he read: "Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?" So the 'many' from Allah is what cannot be counted.
His saying, the Almighty: "And Allah holds and extends"
2438 - It was mentioned from al-Hasan b. 'Ali al-Hulwani, Muhammad b. 'Isa reported to us, Abu 'Amr al-Khuza'i reported to us, from Matar al-Warraq, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "...holds and extends," he said: "He holds the charity, and He extends and replaces it."
His saying: "And to Him you will be returned"
2439 - al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Ishaq b. Isma'il reported to us, Yazid b. Zuray', Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "And Allah holds and extends, and to Him you will be returned," he said: "From dust He created them, and to the dust they shall return."
His saying, the Almighty: "Have you not seen the assembly of the Children of Israel"
2440 - al-Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, regarding His saying: "Have you not seen those who were told: 'Restrain your hands, establish prayer, and give zakah'?"
His saying: "When they said to a prophet of theirs"
2441 - al-Mundhir b. Shadhan narrated to us, Ya'la reported to us, Abu Sinan reported to us, from 'Amr b. Murrah, from Abu 'Ubaydah: "When they said to a prophet of theirs, 'Send for us a king,'" [he said] it is Shamwil b. Hanah b. al-'Aqir.

٢٤٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً قَالَ: هَذَا التَّضْعِيفُ، لَا يَعْلَمُ أَحَدٌ مَا هو.

٢٤٣٧ - حدثنا نحيى بْنُ عَبْدَكَ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ، ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ بن عَبْدُ الْغَفُورِ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى كَعْبٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَجُلا يَقُولُ: مَنْ قَرَأَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً، بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ عَشْرَةَ آلافِ أَلْفِ غَرْفَةٍ مِنْ دُرٍّ وَيَاقُوتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، أَفَأُصَدِّقُ بِذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. أَوَعَجِبْتَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ؟ نَعَمْ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ وَثَلاثِينَ أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ، وَمَا لَا يُحْصِي ذَلِكَ إِلا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ:
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً فَالْكَثِيرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يُحْصَى «١» .
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَاللَّهُ يقبض ويبصط
٢٤٣٨ - ذُكِرَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيِّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْخُزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: يقبض ويبصط قَالَ: يَقْبِضُ الصَّدَقَةَ وَيَبْسُطُ وَيُخْلِفُ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَإِلَيْهِ تَرْجِعُونَ
٢٤٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قتادة قوله: والله يقبض ويبصط وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ مِنَ التُّرَابِ خَلَقَهُمْ وَإِلَى التُّرَابِ يَعُودُونَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الْمَلإِ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
٢٤٤٠ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ قَوْلُهُ:
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ.
قوله: إِذْ قَالُوا لِنَبِيٍّ لَهُمْ
٢٤٤١ - حَدَّثَنَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ، ثنا يَعْلَى، ثنا أَبُو سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ إِذْ قَالُوا لِنَبِيٍّ لَهُمُ ابْعَثْ لنا ملكا وهو الشمول بن حنة بن العاقر.
