Translation · EN

part of a day.' He said: 'Rather, you have remained a hundred years.'

He said: 'So he came to his city, having left a neighbor of his who was a young cobbler, and he arrived while he was an old man.'

His saying, the Exalted: "And look at your food."

2659 - Ibn Muhammad b. al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab reported to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, who said: 'His food that was with him was a basket of figs.' It was narrated from Wahb b. Munabbih and Mujahid something similar.

2660 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi: "And look at your food"—it was figs and grapes.

[His saying: and your drink]

[The first interpretation]

2661 - al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, 'Abd al-Samad b. Ma'qil informed us that he heard Wahb b. Munabbih regarding His saying: "And look at your food and your drink." He said: 'A water skin containing water.'

And the second interpretation:

2662 - al-Hasan b. Muhammad b. al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab reported to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah: "And his drink"—a skin of juice.

And the third interpretation:

2663 - My father narrated to us, Abu 'Umayr 'Isa b. Muhammad al-Ramli reported to us, Hajjaj b. Muhammad informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid: "And look at your food," he said: 'A basket of figs,' and "your drink," he said: 'A skin of wine.'

His saying: "It has not changed (lam yatasannah)."

2664 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, 'Abdah reported to us, from al-Nadr b. 'Arabi, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "It has not changed," meaning: It has not altered. It was narrated from al-Hasan, Mujahid, Wahb b. Munabbih, Qatadah, and Ibn Malik something similar.

2665 - Abu Zur'ah Minjab b. al-Harith narrated to us, Bishr b. 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq,

بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ قَالَ بَلْ لَبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ

قَالَ: فَأَتَى مَدِينَتَهُ، وَقَدْ تَرَكَ جَارًا لَهُ إِسْكَافًا شَابًّا، فَجَاءَ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَانْظُرْ إلى طعامك

٢٦٥٩ - حدثنا بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ طَعَامُهُ الَّذِي مَعَهُ، سَلَّةٌ مِنْ تِينٍ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ، نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٢٦٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فَانْظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ مِنَ التين والعنب.

٢٦٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، أبنا عَبْدُ الرزاق، ابنا عبد الصمد ابن مَعْقِلٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ وَهْبَ بْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَانْظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ قَالَ: قُلَّةٌ فِيهَا مَاءٌ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:

٢٦٦٢ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: وَشَرَابُهُ: زِقٌّ مِنْ عَصِيرٍ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:

٢٦٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ، أبنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فَانْظُرْ إِلَى طَعَامِكَ قال: سَلَّةُ تِينٍ وَشَرَابِكَ قَالَ:

زِقُّ خَمْرٍ.

قَوْلُهُ: لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ

٢٦٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ.

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَوَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ وَقَتَادَةَ وَابْنِ مَالِكٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٢٦٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زرعة مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أبنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ،
