2757 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Harithi and 'Ubayd Allah b. Musa reported to us, both said: 'Uthman b. al-Aswad informed us, from Mujahid, regarding "And strengthening themselves," he said: They ascertain where they place their wealth. It was also narrated from al-Hasan, Abu Salih, and Maymun b. Mihran that they said: The places of Zakat.

And the Third Aspect:

2758 - Musa b. Harun al-Tusi narrated to us, in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn b. Muhammad al-Marwudhi reported to us, Shayban reported to us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "And strengthening themselves," he said: In anticipation of the reward from themselves.

His saying, the Exalted: "Like a garden on a hill."

2759 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "Like a garden on a hill," he said: The hill (al-rabwah) is the elevated, level place.

And the Second Aspect:

2760 - My father narrated to us, Sahl b. 'Uthman reported to us, Sharik reported to us, from Salim, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, he said: The hill is the high ground of the earth. It was also narrated from al-Hasan, Qatadah, al-Rabi' b. Anas, 'Ata' al-Khurasani, and Muqatil b. Hayyan similarly.

His saying, the Exalted: "Struck by a downpour."

2761 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan b. Salih reported to us, al-Walid reported to us, Bukayr b. Ma'ruf informed me, from Muqatil b. Hayyan, regarding: "Struck by a downpour," he says: Rain struck the garden.
