2789 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to me, Mu'awiyah b. Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "Spend from the good things which you have earned," he says: From the best and most precious of your wealth. It was narrated from al-Zuhri something similar.
2790 - Ahmad b. al-Qasim b. 'Atiyyah narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, my father narrated to me, from his father, from al-Ash'ath b. Ishaq, from Ja'far b. Abi al-Mughirah, from Sa'id, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to buy cheap food and give it as charity, so Allah revealed to His Prophet: "O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned."

2791 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad b. 'Abbad al-Kufi reported to us, Sa'id b. Khuthaym reported to us, Muhammad b. Khalid al-Dabbi reported to us, he said: Ibrahim al-Nakha'i passed by a woman from Murad, called Umm Bakr al-Muradiyyah, and she said: I heard 'Ali saying: "from the good things which you have earned" means: the spinning wheel.

2792 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Musaddad reported to us, Abu 'Awanah reported to us, from al-Mughirah, from Ibrahim, regarding the saying of Allah: "from the good things which you have earned," he said: 'A'ishah said: Verily, among the best of a man's earnings is his child.

2793 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj and Muhammad b. Isma'il al-Ahmasi narrated to us, they both said: Waki' reported to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid, regarding "Spend from the good things which you have earned," he said: Lawful trade.
2794 - My father narrated to us, Adam reported to us, Shu'bah reported to us, with his chain of transmission, similar to it, and he added in it: He said: Lawful trade.
