b. Zayd al-Muzzi, he said: Ali b. Abi Talib passed a judgment during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and it reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and it pleased him. He said: "Praise be to Allah who has placed wisdom among us, the People of the House."
His saying: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding."

2831 - Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad b. Kathir b. Marwan reported to us, my father narrated to me, from Luqman b. Amir, from Abu al-Darda', regarding the saying of Allah: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good," he said: It is reciting the Quran and reflecting upon it.

2832 - Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, al-Hasan b. Umar b. Shaqiq reported to us, Abu Muqatil Ja'far b. Salm al-Samarqandi reported to us, from Muqatil b. Hayyan, regarding His saying: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good," he said: It is reciting the Quran externally.
2833 - al-Hasan b. Muhammad al-Sabah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab reported to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good," he said: It is reciting the Quran externally.

2834 - al-Hasan b. Muhammad al-Sabah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab reported to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good," he said: It is the Quran.
2835 - Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad b. Ali b. Hamzah reported to us, Ali b. al-Hasan reported to us, he said: I heard al-Husayn b. Waqid, regarding "and whoever has been given wisdom," he said: It is memorizing the Quran.

2836 - Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, al-Hasan b. Umar b. Shaqiq reported to us, Ja'far b. Sulayman al-Duba'i reported to us, from Matar al-Warraq, regarding His saying: "and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good," he said: It has reached us that wisdom is the fear of Allah and knowledge of Allah.
بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْمُزِّيِّ قَالَ: قَضَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ بِقَضِيَّةٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَبَلَغَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْجَبَتْهُ، فَقَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِينَا الْحِكْمَةَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا وما يذكر إلا أولوا الألباب

٢٨٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ لُقْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، فِي قَوْلِ الله: ومن يؤت الحكمة فقد أوتي خيرا كَثِيرًا قَالَ: قِرَاءَةُ الْقُرْآنِ، وَالْفِكْرَةُ فِيهِ.

٢٨٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُقَاتِلٍ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيُّ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا قَالَ: قِرَاءَةُ الْقُرْآنِ ظَاهِرًا.
٢٨٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ محمد الصبح، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خيرا كثيرا قال: قراءة القرآن ظاهرا.

٢٨٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّبَّاحُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا قَالَ الْقُرْآنُ.
٢٨٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحُسَيْنَ، بْنَ وَاقِدٍ وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ قَالَ: اسْتِظْهَارُ الْقُرْآنِ.

٢٨٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الضُّبَعِيُّ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَنْ يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا قَالَ: بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ الْحِكْمَةَ خَشْيَةُ اللَّهِ، وَالْعِلْمُ بالله.
