2903 - My father narrated to us, 'Isa b. Ja'far reported to us, Sufyan reported to us, regarding His saying: "But whoever returns," he said: "Whoever does not repent until he dies, then those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

His saying: "Then those are the companions of the Fire"

2904 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. Lahi'ah reported to us, 'Ata' reported to me, from Sa'id, regarding His saying: "Then those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally," meaning: They will not die.

His saying, the Exalted: "Allah destroys interest"

2905 - And by the same chain, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding His saying: "Allah destroys interest," meaning: It withers away.

2906 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhallim reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about this verse: "Allah destroys interest and increases charities." He said: "That is on the Day of Resurrection; Allah will destroy interest and its people on that day."

2907 - I read to Muhammad b. al-Fadl, Muhammad b. 'Ali reported to us, Muhammad b. Muzahim informed us, from Bukayr b. Ma'ruf, from Muqatil b. Hayyan, regarding His saying: "Allah destroys interest," he says: "Whatever there was of interest, even if it were abundant until its owner felt envious of it, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will destroy it."

His saying: "And increases charities. And Allah does not like every sinful disbeliever"

2908 - 'Amr b. 'Abd Allah al-Awdi narrated to us, Waki' reported to us, from 'Abbad b. Mansur, al-Qasim b. Muhammad reported to us, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, accepts charity and takes it with His right hand, then He increases it for one of you, just as one of you raises his foal or young camel, until a single morsel becomes like the size of Uhud. The confirmation of that is in the Book of Allah: 'Allah destroys interest and increases charities' (1)."

2909 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah reported to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar reported to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And increases charities," meaning: He doubles the charities. "And Allah does not like every sinful disbeliever."
