His saying, the Exalted: "And Allah does not like"
2910 - Abu Muhammad ibn bint al-Shafi'i narrated to us, in what he wrote to me, from his father or his uncle, from Sufyan b. 'Uyaynah, regarding His saying: "And Allah does not like," he said: "He does not bring near."
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, those who believe" up to His saying: "they will not grieve." Its interpretation has already preceded. Verse 62.
His saying, the Exalted: "O you who have believed, fear Allah"
2911 - I read to Muhammad b. al-Fadl, Muhammad b. 'Ali reported to us, Muhammad b. Muzahim informed us, Bukayr b. Ma'ruf reported to us, from Muqatil b. Hayyan, regarding His saying: "O you who have believed," they are the sons of 'Amr b. 'Umayr b. 'Awf al-Thaqafi.
His saying, the Exalted: "And give up what remains of interest, if you should be believers"
2912 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah and Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "Fear Allah and give up what remains of interest, if you should be believers," he said: In the Pre-Islamic period (Jahiliyyah), a man would have a debt against another man, and he would say: "You owe me such and such, and you delay [payment] for me," and he would grant him a delay.
2913 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains of interest, if you should be believers," he said: The verse was revealed concerning al-'Abbas b. 'Abd al-Muttalib and a man from the Banu al-Mughirah; they were partners in the Jahiliyyah, lending interest to people from Thaqif, from the Banu Ghirah, and they are the clan of al-Mukhtar b. Abi 'Ubayd, and they are the sons of 'Amr b. 'Umayr. Then Islam came, and they had massive wealth in interest. So Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, revealed: "And give up what remains of interest," referring to the surplus that was from the interest of the Jahiliyyah.
2914 - My father narrated to us, al-Nufayli reported to us, Khattab b. al-Qasim reported to us, from Zayd b. Aslam, regarding the saying of Allah: "Fear Allah and give up what remains of interest," he said: What remains owed by the people.
2915 - I read to Muhammad, Muhammad reported to us, Muhammad informed us, from Bukayr, from Muqatil, regarding His saying: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains of interest, if you should be believers," they are the sons of
قوله تَعَالَى: وَاللَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ
٢٩١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنُ بِنْتِ الشَّافِعِيِّ، فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَمِّهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَوْلُهُ: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ قَالَ: لَا يُقَرِّبُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمنوا إلى قوله: يحزنون

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ
٢٩١١ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أبنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلُهُ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُمْ بَنُو عَمْرِو بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
٢٩١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ وَرْقَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَوْلُهُ: اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ: كَانُوا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَكُونُ لِلرَّجُلِ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ الدَّيْنُ فَيَقُولُ: لَكَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَتُؤَخِّرُ عَنِّي، فَيُؤَخِّرَ عَنْهُ.
٢٩١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ: نَزَلَتِ الآيَةُ فِي الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ المطلب ورحل مِنْ بَنِي الْمُغِيرَةِ، كَانَا شَرِيكَيْنِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يُسْلِفَانِ فِي الرِّبَا إِلَى أُنَاسٍ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ، من بني غيرة، وَهُمْ رَهْطُ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ وَهُمْ بنوا عَمْرِو بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، فَجَاءَ الإِسْلامُ، وَلَهُمَا أَمْوَالٌ عَظِيمَةٌ فِي الرِّبَا، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا مِنْ فَضْلٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، مِنَ الرِّبَا
٢٩١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ثنا خَطَّابُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا قَالَ: مَا بَقِيَ عَلَى النَّاسِ.
٢٩١٥ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ، أبنا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلٍ، قَوْلُهُ:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَذَرُوا مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ هُمْ بنوا
