His saying: "And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah, then every soul will be paid in full"
2944 - And with the same chain, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, he said: The last of what was revealed of the entire Quran is: "And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah, then every soul will be paid in full for what it has earned." Meaning: "Every soul will be paid in full," meaning: righteous or wicked. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lived after the revelation of this verse nine nights, then he died on Monday, two nights having passed in Rabi' al-Awwal.
His saying: "what it has earned"
2945 - And with the same chain, from Sa'id b. Jubayr: "what it has earned," meaning: what it has done of good or evil.
His saying: "and they will not be wronged"
2946 - And with the same chain, regarding His saying: "and they will not be wronged," meaning: in their deeds; their good deeds will not be diminished, nor will their evil deeds be increased.
His saying: "O you who have believed"
It has been previously explained. (Verse 104)
His saying: "when you contract a debt"
2947 - My father narrated to us, 'Isa b. Yunus reported to us, Yahya b. 'Isa reported to us, from Sufyan b. Abi Najih, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding the saying of Allah: "O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, then write it down," he said: It is al-salam (advance payment) for wheat, in a known measure.
2948 - Muhammad b. Isma'il narrated to us, Waki' reported to us, from Hisham al-Dastuwa'i, from Qatadah, from Abu Hassan al-A'raj, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: I testify that the guaranteed advance payment for a specified term, Allah has permitted it and authorized it. Then he recited: "O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term."

قَوْلُهُ: وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ
٢٩٤٤ - وَبِهِ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: آخِرُ مَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كُلِّهِ وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نفس ما كسبت يَعْنِي: تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ، يَعْنِي:
بَرًّا أَوْ فَاجِرًا. وَعَاشَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ نُزُولِ هَذِهِ الآيَةِ «١» تِسْعَ لَيَالٍ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ يَوْمَ الاثْنَيْنِ لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ خَلَتَا مِنْ رَبِيعٍ الأَوَّلِ.
قوله: مَا كَسَبَتْ
٢٩٤٥ - وَبِهِ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ يَعْنِي: مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ أَوْ شَرٍّ.
قوله: وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ
٢٩٤٦ - وَبِهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ يَعْنِي: مِنْ أَعْمَالِهِمْ، لَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِمْ، وَلَا يُزَادُ عَلَى سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ.
قَوْلُهُ: يَا أَيُّهَا الذين آمنوا

قوله: إِذَا تَدَايَنْتُمْ بِدَيْنٍ
٢٩٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عِيسَى عن سفيان بن أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَدَايَنْتُمْ بِدَيْنٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَاكْتُبُوهُ قَالَ: السَّلَمُ «٢» فِي الْحِنْطَةِ، فِي كَيْلٍ مَعْلُومٍ.
٢٩٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هشام الستوائي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ السَّلَفَ الْمَضْمُونَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى، إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَلَّهُ وَأَذِنَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَدَايَنْتُمْ بِدَيْنٍ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى.
قوله تَعَالَى: إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى
