1957 - Muhammad b. Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah b. Afdal narrated to us, Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "The Exalted (al-'Aziz) in His support against whoever disbelieves in Him when He wills."
His saying: "Wise (Hakim)"

His saying: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds"
1958 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Muhammad b. Abi Bakr b. 'Ata' b. Muqaddam narrated to us, Mu'tamir b. Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Jalil al-Qaysi narrating from Abu Hazim, from 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds?" The verse: "He descends when He descends, and between Him and His creation are seventy thousand veils, among them: light, darkness, and water, and the water makes a sound in that darkness for which hearts would be torn apart."
1959 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, al-Hasan b. 'Awn al-Basri narrated to us, Yazid b. Zuray' narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, regarding the saying of the Exalted: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds," and that is on the Day of Resurrection.

1960 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, 'Amr al-'Anqazi narrated to us, from Zam'ah b. Salih, from Salamah b. Wahram, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds?" He said: "Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will come on the Day of Resurrection in covers of clouds, which have been cut into sections."
The second view:
1961 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds?" He said: "Mujahid used to say: 'It is other than the [regular] clouds, and it was not there except for the Children of Israel during their wandering when they wandered, and it is that [same type] in which Allah will come on the Day of Resurrection.'"
