[The fourth aspect]
3045 - Abu Ja'far Muhammad b. 'Ammar narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Abd Allah al-Dashtaki reported to us, Abu Sinan reported to us, from Hammad b. Abi Sulayman, regarding His saying: "If one of you trusts another," he said: It is a matter of character (akhlaq) that He has guided them toward.
His saying: "Then let the one who is entrusted fulfill his trust"
3046 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah reported to us, from Isma'il b. Abi Khalid, from al-Sha'bi, regarding His saying: "Then let the one who is entrusted fulfill his trust," he said: The matter has turned to trust.
3047 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah b. Bukayr reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Lahi'ah reported to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar reported to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "Then let the one who is entrusted fulfill his trust," he says: Let him fulfill the right that is upon him to its owner.
His saying: "And let him fear Allah, his Lord"
3048 - And through the same chain from Sa'id b. Jubayr, he said: Allah instilled fear in the one upon whom the right lies, so He said: "And let him fear Allah, his Lord."
His saying: "And do not conceal testimony"
3049 - And through the same chain from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And do not conceal testimony," he means: Before the judges. He says: Whoever is called to witness a right, let him establish it as it is, whatever it may be.
3050 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi', regarding "And do not conceal testimony," he said: It is not permissible for anyone to conceal a testimony that is with him, even if it is against himself, his parents, or his relatives.
His saying: "And whoever conceals it"
3051 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih reported to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: Concealing testimony is among the major sins (kaba'ir), because Allah says: "And whoever conceals it, then indeed, his heart is sinful."
3052 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Lahi'ah reported to me.
وَالْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ:
٣٠٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدَّشْتَكِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو سِنَانٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَإِنْ أَمِنَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا قَالَ: أَخْلاقٌ، دَلَّهُمْ عَلَيْهَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ
٣٠٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأشج أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ قَالَ: صَارَ الأَمْرُ إِلَى الأَمَانَةِ.
٣٠٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ يَقُولُ: لِيُؤَدِّ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ.
قوله: وَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ رَبَّهُ
٣٠٤٨ - وَبِهِ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: خَوَّفُ اللَّهِ، الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ، فَقَالَ:
وَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ رَبَّهُ
قَوْلُهُ: وَلا تَكْتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ
٣٠٤٩ - وَبِهِ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَلا تَكْتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ يَعْنِي:
عَنِد الْحُكَّامِ، يَقُولُ: مَنْ أُشْهِدَ عَلَى حَقٍّ، فَلْيِقمْهَا عَلَى وَجْهِهَا، كَيْفَ كَانَتْ.
٣٠٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَلا تَكْتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ فَلا يَحِلُّ لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَكْتُمَ شَهَادَةً هِيَ عِنْدَهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ أَوِ الأَقْرَبِينَ.
قوله تَعَالَى: وَمَنْ يَكْتُمْهَا
٣٠٥١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: وَمِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ، كِتْمَانُ الشَّهَادَةِ، لأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ: وَمَنْ يَكْتُمْهَا فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُهُ
