1962 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad b. al-Wazir al-Dimashqi narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, he said: I asked Zuhayr b. Muhammad regarding the saying of Allah: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds?" He said: "Covers of clouds, ornamented with ruby, decorated with jewels and chrysolite."

1963 - 'Isam b. Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi' b. Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels?" He says: "The angels will come in covers of clouds, and Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, will come in whatever He wills. It is in some recitations: 'Do they await but that Allah and the angels should come to them in covers of clouds.' It is like His saying: 'And the day the heaven shall be cleft asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down in succession.'"
1964 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. Ibrahim al-Daruqi narrated to us, Hajjaj narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ikrimah: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels?" He says: "And the angels are around Him."

1965 - al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels?" He said: "Allah will come to them in covers of clouds, and the angels will come to them at the time of death."
His saying: "And the matter is decided, and to Allah all matters are returned"
1966 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, Mihran narrated to us, from Sufyan, from his father, from 'Ikrimah: "And the matter is decided," he says: "The Hour has arrived."
1967 - Yunus b. 'Abd al-A'la informed us by reading, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he means: 'Abd al-Rahman b. Zayd b. Aslam, he said: "To Allah is the return."
His saying, Exalted is He: "Ask the Children of Israel"
1968 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid: "Ask the Children of Israel," they are the Jews.
