'Ata' reported to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And whoever conceals it," meaning the testimony, if he does not testify with it when he is called for it, "then indeed, his heart is sinful."
His saying: "Then indeed, his heart is sinful"
3053 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "Then indeed, his heart is sinful," he says: His heart is wicked.
His saying: "And Allah is Knowing of what you do"
3054 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Lahi'ah reported to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar reported to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And Allah is Knowing of what you do," meaning: regarding the concealing of the testimony and the establishing of it against them.
His saying: "To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth"
3055 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' b. Anas, regarding His saying: "To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth," he said: It is firm (muhkamah); nothing has abrogated it.
His saying: "And whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it"

3056 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl reported to us, from Yazid b. Abi Ziyad, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it," he said: It is regarding testimony. It was also narrated from al-Sha'bi, 'Ikrimah, and Miqsam something similar to that.

3057 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih reported to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it," he said: That is the secret of your affair and its openness; Allah will bring you to account for it. It has not been abrogated, and indeed when Allah gathers the creation on the Day of Resurrection, He will say: "I will inform you of what you concealed within yourselves, of which my angels were not aware."
حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَمَنْ يَكْتُمْهَا يَعْنِي الشَّهَادَةَ، لَا يَشْهَدْ بِهَا إِذَا دُعِيَ لَهَا، فَإِنَّهُ آثَمٌ قَلْبُهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُهُ
٣٠٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، قَوْلُهُ:
فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُهُ يقول: فاجر قلبه.
قوله: وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ
٣٠٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ يَعْنِي: مِنْ كِتْمَانِ الشَّهَادَةِ، وَإِقَامَتِهَا عَلَيْهِمْ.
قَوْلُهُ: لِّلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاواتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ
٣٠٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، قَوْلُهُ: لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ قَالَ: هِيَ مُحْكَمَةٌ لَمْ يَنْسَخْهَا شَيْءٌ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ

٣٠٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ قَالَ: فِي الشَّهَادَةِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ وَعِكْرِمَةَ وَمِقْسَمٍ، مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.

٣٠٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَوْلُهُ: وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أو تخفوه يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللَّهُ فَذَلِكَ سِرُّ أَمْرِكَ وَعَلانِيَتُهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهَا لَمْ تُنْسَخْ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا جَمَعَ الْخَلائِقَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، يَقُولُ إِنِّي أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا أَخْفَيتُمْ فِي نُفُوسِكُمْ، مِمَّا لَمْ تَطَّلِعْ عَلَيْهِ ملائكتي.
