His saying, Exalted is He: "Upon it [the consequence of] what it has earned" of evil.
3090 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad b. Wahb b. 'Atiyyah al-Dimashqi reported to us, al-Walid b. Muslim reported to us, al-Qasim b. Hazzan reported to us, al-Zuhri narrated to me, Sa'id b. Marjanah narrated to me, he said: Ibn 'Abbas said: So Allah revealed: "And upon it [the consequence of] what it has earned" of action.
3091 - My father narrated to us, Qabisah reported to us, Sufyan reported to us, from Musa b. 'Ubaydah, from Khalid b. Zayd, from Muhammad b. Ka'b al-Qurazi: "And upon it [the consequence of] what it has earned." [A blank space (1)]
His saying, Exalted is He: "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred."
3092 - My father narrated to us, Muslim b. Ibrahim reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hudhali reported to us, from Shahr, from Umm al-Darda', from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he said: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned for my nation three things: mistake, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into." Abu Bakr said: I mentioned that to al-Hasan, and he said: Yes, do you not read a Quranic verse regarding that? "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred."
3093 - 'Ali b. Harb al-Mawsili narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl reported to us, from 'Ata' b. al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred," he said: I will not impose blame upon you.
3094 - al-Hasan b. Muhammad al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Affan reported to us, 'Abd al-Rahman b. Ibrahim reported to us, al-'Ala' b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah regarding "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred," he said: Yes.
3095 - 'Ali b. Harb narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl reported to us, from 'Ata' b. al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id, regarding "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred," he said: I will not impose blame upon you.
His saying, Exalted is He: "Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden [isran]"

3096 - 'Ali b. Harb narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl reported to us, from 'Ata' b. al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding the saying of Allah: "And lay not upon us a burden," he said: And I will not lay [a burden] upon you.
It was narrated from Sa'id b. Jubayr similarly.
