His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, those who disbelieve"
3228 - Al-Mundhir b. Shadhan narrated to us, Hawdha reported to us, 'Awf reported to us, from 'Abd Allah b. al-Harith b. Nawfal who said: I heard Ka'b saying: "Those who disbelieve"—he said: These are the people of the Fire.
His saying, the Exalted: "Neither their wealth nor their children will avail them at all against Allah. And they are the fuel of the Fire"
3229 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Abi Maryam reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, Ibn al-Had informed me, from Hind bint al-Harith, from Umm al-Fadl, the mother of 'Abd Allah b. 'Abbas, who said: While we were in Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood up at night and called out: "O Allah, have I conveyed [the message]? O Allah, have I conveyed [the message]?"—three times. 'Umar b. al-Khattab stood up and said: "Yes." Then, when morning came, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Islam shall certainly prevail until it drives disbelief back to its place of origin, and it shall surely traverse the seas with Islam. There will come a time upon the people when they learn the Qur'an and recite it, then they will say: 'We have read the Qur'an and we have acquired knowledge, so who is there who is better than us?' Is there any good in those?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, who are those?" He replied: "Those are from among you," and those are the fuel of the Fire.
His saying, the Exalted: "Like the habit of the people of Pharaoh"
3230 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab reported to us, Bishr b. 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Like the habit of the people of Pharaoh," he said: Like the deeds of the people of Pharaoh.
Abu Muhammad said: Something similar was reported from Abu Malik, al-Dahhak, Mujahid, and 'Ikrimah. And it was reported from al-Rabi' b. Anas that he said: Like the resemblance of the people of Pharaoh.
His saying, the Exalted: "And those before them who denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins"
3231 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asyat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding "Like the habit of the people of Pharaoh and those before them who denied Our signs." He mentioned those who disbelieve and said: By their denial, they are like those before them in their rejection and denial."

قوله تَعَالَى: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
٣٢٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ، ثنا هَوْذَةُ، ثنا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ كَعْبًا يَقُولُ: الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قَالَ: هَؤُلاءِ أَهْلُ النَّارِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شيئا وأولئك هم وقود النار
٣٢٢٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ، عَنْ هِنْدَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ أُمِّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَتْ: بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَكَّةَ، قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَنَادَى: اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، ثَلاثًا، فَقَامَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَيَظْهَرَنَّ الإِسْلامُ حَتَّى يَرُدَّ الْكُفْرَ إِلَى مَوطِنِهِ، وَلَيَخُوضَنَّ الْبِحَارَ بِالإِسْلامِ، وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَتَعَلَّمُونَ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَقْرَءُونَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ: قَدْ قَرَأْنَا الْقُرْآنَ، وَعَلِمْنَا فَمَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا، فَهَلْ فِي أُولَئِكَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ؟ قَالُوا:
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ: فَمَنْ أُولَئِكَ؟. قَالَ أُولَئِكَ مِنْكُمْ «١» ، وَأُولَئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ
٣٢٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مِنْجَابٌ، أَنْبَأَ بِشْرٌ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ قَالَ: كَصَنِيعِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ.
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ وَالضَّحَّاكِ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَعِكْرِمَةَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: كَشَبِيهِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ
٣٢٣١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا أسياط، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ذَكَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَقَالَ بِتَكْذِيبِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فِي الْجُحُودِ والتكذيب.
