Translation · EN

Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: A qintar is the amount that fills a bull's hide with gold. Abu Muhammad said: Muhammad b. Musa al-Harashi narrated it from Hammad b. Zayd in a marfu' (elevated) form, and the mawquf (stopped) form is more correct.

The eighth aspect:

3260 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah reported to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak, regarding His saying: "A qintar," he said: Among the Arabs are those who say a qintar is one thousand dinars, and among them are those who say it is twelve thousand.

Abu Muhammad said: It has been narrated from al-Hasan that he said: Twelve thousand.

The ninth aspect:

3261 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tahrani narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq reported to us, 'Umar b. Hawshab informed us, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani, that Ibn 'Umar was asked: What is the qintar? He said: Seventy thousand.

3262 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "The hoarded heaps (of gold and silver)," the qintar is seventy thousand. Abu Muhammad said: Something similar to this has been narrated from Tawus.

The tenth aspect:

3263 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Musaddad reported to us, Yazid b. Zuray' reported to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding this verse: A qintar is one thousand two hundred dinars.

The eleventh aspect:

3264 - My father narrated to us, al-Husayn b. 'Isa b. Maysarah reported to us, Zafir, meaning: Ibn Sulayman, reported to us, Habban reported to us, from Sa'id b. Tarif, from Abu Ja'far, he said: A qintar is fifteen thousand mithqal, and the mithqal is twenty-four qirats, the smallest of which is like Uhud, and the largest of which is what is between the heaven and the earth.

His saying, the Exalted: "Hoarded (muqantara)"

3265 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "The hoarded heaps," he says: It is minted until it becomes dinars and dirhams.

نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبَى سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ ملئ مَسْكِ الثَّوْرِ ذَهَبًا- قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ:

رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ مَرْفُوعًا، وَالْمَوقُوفُ أَصَحُّ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّامِنُ:

٣٢٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ جُوَيْبِرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ فِي قَوْلِهِ قنطار قَالَ: مِنَ الْعَرَبِ مَنْ يَقُولُ الْقِنْطَارُ أَلْفُ دِينَارٍ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا

قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا.

وَالْوَجْهُ التَّاسِعُ:

٣٢٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَ عُمَرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ سُئِلَ: مَا الْقِنْطَارُ؟ قَالَ: سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا.

٣٢٦٢ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١»

قَوْلُهُ: الْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ فَالْقِنْطَارُ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الْعَاشِرُ:

٣٢٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ: فِي هَذِهِ الآية: القنطار ألف ومائتان دِينَارٍ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الْحَادِيَ عَشَرَ:

٣٢٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، ثنا زَافِرٌ يَعْنِي: ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا حَبَّانٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفَ مِثْقَالٍ، وَالْمِثْقَالُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ قِيرَاطًا أَصْغَرُهَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَأَكْبَرُهَا مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ.

قوله تَعَالَى: الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ

٣٢٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ:

الْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ فيقول: المضروبة حتى صارت دنانير ودراهم.
