The third aspect:

3272 - Al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, from Ma'mar, from Qatadah, regarding: "And the marked horses," he said: The markings (shiyah) of the horses on their faces.

The fourth aspect:

3273 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, from al-Hasan, regarding His saying: "And the marked horses," he said: The Muslims would use markings (siya) and the polytheists would have their own markings. Their markings were wool, and rarely would two parties meet but that they would mark their horses.

[The fifth aspect:]

3274 - My father Yahya b. 'Uthman b. Kathir b. Dinar narrated to us, Damrah reported to us, from Ibn Shawdhab, from Matar, regarding the saying of Allah: "The marked (al-musawwamah)": A strip of redness.

The sixth aspect:

3275 - My father narrated to us, Mahmud b. Khalid reported to us, al-Walid reported to us, some of our sheikhs reported to us, from Makhul, regarding His saying: "And the marked horses," he said: The white mark on the forehead (ghurrah) and the white markings on the legs (tahjil).

His saying, the Exalted: "And the cattle and the crops (al-harth)."

3276 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad b. Talhah al-Qannad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding: "And the cattle and the crops," he said: The cattle are the grazing ones.

His saying, the Exalted: "That is the enjoyment of the worldly life, and Allah has with Him the best of returns (al-ma'ab)."

3277 - Ahmad b. Sinan al-Wasiti narrated to us, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' reported to us, Haywah reported to us, Shurahbil b. Sharik informed us that he heard Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli narrating from 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr, from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "The world is an enjoyment, and the best enjoyment of the world is a righteous woman."
