Translation · EN

Abbas: "Abiding therein," informing them that the reward for good and evil remains with its people forever; it has no interruption.

His saying, the Exalted: "And purified spouses."

3285 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Purified spouses," he said: Purified from filth and harm.

3286 - Al-Hasan b. Muhammad b. al-Sabbah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "Purified spouses," he said: Purified from menstruation, defecation, urination, phlegm, saliva, semen, and childbirth.

His saying, the Exalted: "And approval (Ridwan) from Allah. And Allah is All-Seeing of the servants."

3287 - My father mentioned, Muqatil b. Muhammad reported to us, Waki' reported to us, from Sufyan, from Muhammad b. al-Mundhir, from Jabir, who said: When the people of the Garden enter, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will say: "There remains something that you have not attained: My approval."

3288 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, al-Hasan b. 'Isa b. Masarjis, the freed slave of Ibn al-Mubarak, reported to us, Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, Malik b. Anas informed us, from Zayd b. Aslam, from 'Ata' b. Yasar, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will say: 'O people of the Garden!' They will say: 'At Your service, our Lord, and under Your favor.' He will say: 'Are you satisfied?' They will say: 'And why should we not be satisfied, when You have given us what You have not given to anyone of Your creation?' He will say: 'Shall I not give you better than that?' They will say: 'O Lord, and what is better than that?' He will say: 'I shall bestow My approval upon you, so I shall never be displeased with you.'"

His saying, the Exalted: "And Allah is All-Seeing of the servants."

3289 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah b. Bukayr reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, from Yazid b. Abi Habib, from Abu al-Khayr, from 'Uqbah b. 'Amir, who said:
