The third interpretation:

3295 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, he said: I asked about His saying: "The patient ones and the truthful ones," he said: They are the worshippers.

His saying, the Exalted: "And the obedient ones"

3296 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl reported to us, from 'Abd al-Malik, from 'Ata', he said: "The obedient ones": Those who perform prayer.

And the second interpretation:

3297 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah b. Bukayr reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And the obedient ones," meaning: Those who are obedient to Allah in what He has commanded them. And Abu Muhammad said: It is narrated from Qatadah and al-Rabi' b. Anas similar to that.

His saying, the Exalted: "And those who spend"

3298 - And through the same chain from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding His saying: "And those who spend," meaning: their wealth in the right of Allah.

And the second interpretation:

3299 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu Hisham al-Rifa'i reported to us, he said: Yahya b. Adam said: It is said: The spending mentioned in the Qur'an means charity (sadaqah).

His saying: "And those who seek forgiveness at the hours of the dawn"

3300 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And those who seek forgiveness at the hours of the dawn," meaning: Those who pray at the hours of the dawn. Abu Muhammad said: It is narrated from Qatadah and al-Rabi' b. Anas similar to that.
