3327 - Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Aslam mentioned, Ishaq b. Rahwayh reported to us, he said: I read to Abu Qurrah in his tafsir, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abbas regarding "the unlearned," [he said]: Those who do not write.

3328 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' regarding His saying: "Then they have been guided," he said: Whoever speaks this sincerely from his heart—meaning: faith—he has been guided.

His saying, the Exalted: "But if they turn away, then upon you is only the notification."

3329 - Muhammad b. Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, he said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "But if they turn away"—from their disbelief.

3330 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' b. Anas regarding His saying: "But if they turn away"—from it—meaning: from the faith.

3331 - 'Abd Allah b. Ahmad narrated to us, Ahmad b. Zakariya b. al-Harith al-Makki reported to us, Abu Hatim Muhammad b. 'Abd al-Malik reported to us, Hisham b. 'Ammar reported to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood during the Farewell Pilgrimage and said: "What day is this?" They said: "The Day of Sacrifice." He said: "What land is this?" They said: "A sacred land." He said: "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this land on this day." Then he said: "Have I conveyed [the message]?" They said: "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began to say: "O Allah, bear witness." (1)

His saying: "Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah and kill the prophets without right"

3332 - Abu al-Zubayr al-Hasan b. 'Ali b. Muslim al-Naysaburi, a resident of Mecca, narrated to us; Abu Hafs—meaning: Ibn Thabit b. Zurarah al-Ansari—narrated to me; Muhammad b. Hamzah reported to us; Abu al-Hasan, a freed slave of Banu Asad, narrated to me, from Makhul, from Qabisah b. Dhu'ayb al-Khuza'i, from Abu 'Ubaydah b. al-Jarrah, he said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, which of the people will have the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection?" He said:
