Translation · EN

al-Khazzaz, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Sa'id b. al-Musayyib, he said: On the Day of Resurrection, when Allah replaces the believer's evil deeds with good deeds, and his evil deeds were more numerous. He said: I mentioned this to Mujahid, and he did not say that it was not as he said, and he recited: "The day every soul will find what it has done of good, presented, and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that there was a great distance."

3396 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "A great distance" [1].

And the Second Aspect:

3397 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi regarding "a great distance," he says: A far-off place.

His saying, the Exalted: "And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to the servants."

3398 - My father narrated to us, 'Imran b. Musa al-Tarasusi reported to us, Fayd b. Ishaq reported to us, he said: Al-Fudayl b. 'Iyad said regarding His saying: "And Allah warns you of Himself," he said: Al-Hasan said: Out of His kindness to them, He warned them of Himself.

His saying, the Exalted: "Say, if you should love Allah, then follow me."

3399 - My father narrated to us, 'Ali b. Muhammad al-Tanafisi reported to us, 'Ubayd Allah b. Musa reported to us, from 'Abd al-A'la b. A'yan, from Yahya b. Abi Kathir, from 'Urwah b. al-Zubayr, from 'Aishah, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Is the religion anything but love and hate?" Allah the Exalted says: "Say, if you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you." Abu Muhammad said: Abu Zur'ah said: This hadith is munkar (rejected), and 'Abd al-A'la is munkar in hadith and weak [2].

3400 - My father narrated to me, al-Hasan b. al-Rabi' reported to us, 'Amr b. Abi Hurmuz informed us, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dimashqi reported to us, from 'Ata', from Abu al-Darda' regarding His saying: "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you," upon righteousness, piety, humility, and humbleness of the soul.
