His saying, the Exalted: "And the family of Abraham."
3413 - Al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq [1] reported to us, Ma'mar reported to us, from Qatadah: "Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds," he said: Allah mentioned two righteous households and two righteous men, so He favored them over the worlds. And Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was of the family of Abraham.
His saying, the Exalted: "And the family of 'Imran over the worlds."
3414 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih reported to us, Mu'awiyah b. Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali b. Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds," he said: They are the believers from the family of Abraham, the family of 'Imran, the family of Yasin, and the family of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
His saying, the Exalted: "Over the worlds."
3415 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "Over the worlds," he said: Over all people.
His saying, the Exalted: "[Descendants] some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing."
3416 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Abu Nu'aym reported to us, Ma'mar, meaning Ibn Yahya b. Sam, reported to us, he said: I heard Abu Ja'far saying: 'Ali said: "Rise, O Hasan, and address the people." My father said: "I am awed by you to address them while I see you." So he moved away from him where he could hear his speech but could not see him. Then al-Hasan stood, praised Allah, extolled Him, spoke, and then descended. 'Ali said: "[Descendants] some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing."
3417 - My father narrated to us, 'Abbad b. Ya'qub reported to us, 'Ali b. Hashim b. al-Barid reported to us, from his father, from Ja'far b. Muhammad, from his father, from his grandfather, that 'Ali said to al-Hasan, and he mentioned the like of it.
3418 - Musa b. Harun al-Tusi informed us in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn b. Muhammad al-Marwudhi reported to us, Shayban reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "[Descendants] some of them from others," he said: In intention, deed, sincerity, and monotheism.

قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
٣٤١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ «١» ، أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَى آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ: ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ أَهْلَ بَيْتَيْنِ صَالِحَيْنِ، وَرَجُلَيْنِ صَالِحَيْنِ، فَفَضَّلَهُمَا اللَّهُ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ، وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ.
قوله تَعَالَى: وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
٣٤١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عن ابن عباس قوله: اصْطَفَى آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ: هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنْ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَآلِ عِمْرَانَ، وَآلِ يَاسِينَ، وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
٣٤١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحْكَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ: عَلَى النَّاسِ كُلِّهِمْ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: ذُرِّيَّةً بعضها من بعض وَاللَّهُ سُمَيْعٌ عَلِيمٌ
٣٤١٦ - ١، ٢ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَامٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيُّ: قُمْ يَا حَسَنُ فَاخْطُبِ النَّاسَ. قَالَ: أَبِي، أَهَابُكَ أَنْ أَخْطُبَ وَأَنَا أَرَاكَ، فَتَغَيَّبَ عَنْهُ حَيْثُ يَسْمَعُ كَلامَهُ وَلا يَرَاهُ، فَقَامَ الْحَسَنُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، وَتَكَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ.
٣٤١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ الْبَرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِلْحَسَنِ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
٣٤١٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ الطُّوسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ قال: فِي النِّيَّةِ، وَالْعَمَلِ وَالإِخْلاصِ، والتوحيد.
