3444 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Malik b. Isma'il reported to us, Sharik reported to us, from 'Ata' b. al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "He found with her provision," he said: He found grapes with her in a basket, out of their season.

3445 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Usamah reported to us, from al-Nadr, from 'Ikrimah regarding "He found with her provision," he said: Winter fruit in the summer, and summer fruit in the winter.

3446 - My father narrated to us, Abu al-Tahir Ahmad b. 'Amr reported to us, Khalid b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, from Malik b. Mighwal, from Ibrahim b. Muhajir, from Mujahid regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, "He found with her provision," he said: Pomegranates and grapes out of their season. Abu Muhammad said: Something similar has been reported from Mujahid in one of his two opinions, as well as from Sa'id b. Jubayr, Jabir b. Zayd, al-Dahhak, Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, Qatadah, al-Rabi' b. Anas, al-Suddi, and 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi.

A different version was reported from Mujahid: Ahmad b. al-Fadl al-'Asqalani narrated to us, 'Ali b. al-Hasan al-Marwazi reported to us, Ibrahim b. Rustum reported to us, from Sufyan b. 'Uyaynah, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding this verse: "He found with her provision," he said: Knowledge, or scrolls containing knowledge.

His saying, the Exalted: "He said, 'O Maryam'"

3447 - 'Ali b. al-Husayn narrated to us, Musa b. Harun reported to us, Marwan reported to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak regarding "How have you acquired this?" he says: Who brought this to you?

3448 - Abu Bakr b. Abi Musa narrated to us, Harun b. Hatim reported to us, 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Hammad reported to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "Anna" (How), meaning: From where?

His saying, the Exalted: "It is from Allah."

3449 - Muhammad b. Sa'd al-'Awfi informed us in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my uncle al-Husayn narrated to me, my father narrated to me, from my grandfather, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "O Maryam, how have you acquired this?" She said: "It is from Allah." He found with her fresh fruit when fruit was not found with anyone else. Zakariyya would say: "O Maryam, how have you acquired this?" She would say: "It is from Allah; indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account."
