His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed (inna)."
3551 - Abu Bakr b. Abi Musa narrated to us, Harun b. Hatim reported to us, 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Hammad reported to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik, regarding His saying: "Indeed (inna)," [pronounced] with a kasrah on the alif, [meaning] then it was not.
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed in that."
3552 - Through him (the same chain), from Abu Malik, regarding His saying: "That" [in that], meaning: this.
His saying, the Exalted: "is a sign for you."
3553 - Muhammad narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, [who] said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said regarding: "Indeed in that is a sign for you," meaning: a messenger from Allah to you, if you are believers.
His saying: "Believers."
3554 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah b. Bukayr reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' b. Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding "If you are believers," meaning: confirmers [of the truth].
His saying, the Exalted: "And as a confirmer of what is before me of the Torah."
3555 - Muhammad b. Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, [who] said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "And as a confirmer of what is before me of the Torah," meaning: of what preceded me of it.
His saying: "And to make lawful for you some of that which was forbidden to you."
3556 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, [who] said: I asked al-Hasan regarding: "And to make lawful for you some of that which was forbidden to you." He said: There were things forbidden to them, so 'Isa (Jesus) came to them to make lawful for them that which had been forbidden to them, seeking by that their gratitude.
3557 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, from al-Rabi', regarding "And to make lawful for you some of that which was forbidden to you," he said: That which 'Isa brought was softer than that which Musa (Moses) brought. He said: It had been forbidden to them in that which came with Musa from the Torah:

٣٥٥١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: إِنَّ بِكَسْرِ الأَلِفِ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ
٣٥٥٢ - وَبِهِ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: ذَلِكَ يَعْنِي: هَذَا
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: لآيَةً لَكُمْ
٣٥٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لَكُمْ أَيْ رَسُول مِنَ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ: مُؤْمِنِينَ
٣٥٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ يَعْنِي:
مُصَدِّقِينَ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ
٣٥٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ أَيْ لِمَا سَبَقَنِي مِنْهَا.
قَوْلُهُ: وَلأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ
٣٥٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحْكَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ: وَلأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَالَ: كَانَ حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَشْيَاءُ، فَجَاءَهُمْ عِيسَى لِيُحِلَّ لَهُمُ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، يَبْتَغِي بِذَلِكَ شُكْرَهُمْ [٣٥٥٧] حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَلأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَالَ: كَانَ الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ عِيسَى أَلْيَنَ مِمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ مُوسَى. قَالَ: كَانَ حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ فِيمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مُوسَى مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ:
