3585 - Muhammad b. Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, he said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "Indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself," they will be thwarted in what they intended against you.
3586 - 'Ali b. al-Mubarak informed us in what he wrote to me, Zayd b. al-Mubarak reported to us, Ibn Thawr reported to us, from Ibn Jurayj, regarding His saying: "Indeed I will take you and raise you," he said: Raising him is his taking him.

3587 - al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam reported to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi reported to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur reported to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "And purify you from those who disbelieve," he said: He purified him from the Jews, the Christians, the Magians, and from the disbelievers of his people.

3588 - 'Ali b. al-Mubarak informed us in what he wrote to me, Zayd b. al-Mubarak reported to us, Ibn Thawr reported to us, from Ibn Jurayj: "And I will make those who follow you," he said: A helper to those who followed him in Islam.

3589 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki reported to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far reported to us, from his father, al-Rabi' reported to us, regarding His saying: "And I will make those who follow you," he said: They are the people of Islam who followed him upon his primordial nature (fitra), his religious path (milla), and his tradition (sunna); they shall remain dominant over the people of polytheism until the Day of Resurrection. Abu Muhammad said: Something similar was narrated from Qatadah.

3590 - Ahmad b. 'Uthman b. Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad b. al-Mufaddal reported to us, Asbat b. Nasr reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "And I will make those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection," as for those who follow you, it is said they are the believers, and it is said they are the Romans.

٣٥٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: إني متوفيك ورافعك إلي، ذهموا مِنْكَ بِمَا هَمُّوا.
٣٥٨٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ قال: رَفْعُهُ إِيَّاهُ: توفيته إِيَّاهُ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
٣٥٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحْكَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قَالَ:
طَهَّرَهُ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالْمَجُوسِ وَمِنْ كُفَّارِ قَوْمِهِ.
قوله تَعَالَى: وَجَاعِلُ
٣٥٨٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ، عن ابن جريح وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ قَالَ: نَاصِرًا مَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ.

٣٥٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّشْتَكِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ قَوْلُهُ: وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ قَالَ: هُمْ أَهْلُ الإِسْلامِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ عَلَى فِطْرَتِهِ، وَمِلَّتِهِ، وَسُنَّتِهِ لَا يَزَالُونَ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ. قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

٣٥٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فوق الذين كفروا إلى يوم القيامة أَمَّا الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَيُقَالُ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ، وَيُقَالُ هُمُ الرُّومُ.
