His saying, the Exalted: "Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge."
[The First Aspect]
3642 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, 'Abd Allah b. Abi Ja'far narrated to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' he said: Abu al-'Aliyah said regarding "Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge": He says: Regarding that which you witnessed, saw, and observed.
The Second Aspect:
3643 - Ahmad b. 'Uthman b. Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad b. Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge." As for that of which they have knowledge, it is what was forbidden to them and what they were commanded to do.
The Third Aspect:
3644 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge," and he said: One who argues with knowledge is excused, but one who argues with ignorance is not excused.
His saying, the Exalted: "Why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge?"

3645 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad b. 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, 'Abd Allah b. The Second Aspect:
3646 - Ahmad b. 'Uthman b. Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad b. Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat b. Nasr narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "Why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge?" As for that of which they have no knowledge, it is the affair of Abraham.
The Third Aspect:
3647 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "Why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge?" He said: One who argues with ignorance is not excused.
