The Second Aspect:
3715 - Al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah regarding "There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned [al-ummiyyin]," he said: They meant there is no blame upon us concerning the polytheists, meaning those who are not of the People of the Scripture.
His saying, the Exalted: "And they speak falsehood about Allah while they know."
3716 - Ahmad b. 'Uthman b. Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad b. al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "And they speak falsehood about Allah while they know," he said: He says, "There is no sin upon us regarding the wealth of the Arabs; Allah has made it lawful for us," and he speaks falsehood about Allah while he knows.
His saying, the Exalted: "Nay, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah [will be rewarded]."
3717 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Musa b. Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, 'Abbad b. Mansur narrated to us, he said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "Nay, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah [will be rewarded]," he said: They were commanded to fulfill their commitment to every Muslim.
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, Allah loves the righteous."
[The First Aspect]
3718 - Ahmad b. Sinan narrated to us, Abu al-Nadr Hashim b. al-Qasim narrated to us, Abu 'Aqil 'Abd Allah b. 'Aqil narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah b. Yazid, from Rabi' b. Yazid and 'Atiyyah b. Qays, from 'Atiyyah al-Sa'di, who was one of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, he said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: A man shall not be among the righteous until he leaves what poses no harm, out of caution against that which does pose harm.
The Second Aspect:
3719 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd Allah b. 'Imran al-Asbahani narrated to us, Ishaq b. Sulayman—meaning the Razi—narrated to us, from al-Mughirah b. Muslim, from Maymun Abu Hamzah, he said: I was sitting with Abu Wa'il, when a man entered called Abu 'Afif, from the companions of Mu'adh, and Shaqiq b. Salamah said to him:
(1). Al-Tafsir 1/130. (2). Al-Tirmidhi, Book of the Description of Resurrection, no. 4215. (3). In the original, it is (Sufyan), but what the author mentioned in his saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, those who purchase..." the verse—verse 77.
