Volume 2 · Page 348And the second interpretation/aspect:

Translation · EN

The second interpretation:

3792 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together." He said: If two believers or two disbelievers were to curse each other, and one of them said, "May Allah curse the wrongdoer," that curse would become incumbent upon the disbeliever because he is a wrongdoer, so everyone from among the creation curses him.

His saying, the Exalted: "Abiding eternally therein"

3793 - 'Isam b. Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding: "Abiding eternally therein," meaning in the Fire, in the curse. "The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved." Abu Muhammad said: It was narrated from al-Rabi' similar to this.

His saying, the Exalted: "The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved."

3794 - 'Isam b. Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding: "Abiding eternally therein," meaning in the Fire, in the curse. "The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved." He said: It is like His saying: "This is a Day they will not speak, nor will it be permitted for them to offer excuses." (1) Abu Muhammad said: It was narrated from al-Rabi' b. Anas similar to this.

His saying, the Exalted: "Except for those who repent after that"

3795 - My father narrated to me, Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. al-Mukhtar narrated to us, 'Ali b. Mushir narrated to us, from Dawud, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: A man from the Ansar apostatized from Islam and then felt remorse. He sent word to his people: "Ask the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Is there any repentance for me?" They asked him, so Allah, the Exalted, revealed: "How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief" until He reached: "Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." They wrote this to him, so he returned and accepted Islam.

3796 - al-Hasan b. Muhammad b. al-Sabbah narrated to us, Hajjaj b. Muhammad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, and 'Uthman b. 'Ata' from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding:
