al-Hasan, Ibrahim, Zurarah b. Awfa, Abu Malik, 'Ata' al-Khurasani, Bakr b. 'Abd Allah, one of the two opinions of 'Ikrimah, Habib b. Abi Thabit, al-Suddi, Makhul, Muqatil, Tawus, Qatadah, al-Rabi' b. Anas, Yahya b. Sa'id, and Rabi'ah, the like of this.
2155 - 'Isam b. Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Ata' b. Abi Rabah, from 'Aishah, who said: "It is a man's saying: 'No, by Allah,' and 'Yes, by Allah,' while he believes that he is truthful, yet it is not so."
The third interpretation:
2156 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, 'Uqbah b. Khalid narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Abu Bishr, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding "Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths," he said: "It is a man swearing regarding an act of disobedience," meaning: that he will not pray, and he will not perform good deeds.
2157 - 'Isam b. Rawwad narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, Abu Bishr and Dawud b. Abi Hind narrated to us, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding His saying: "Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths," he said: "It is a man swearing regarding an act of disobedience; he is not held accountable if he abandons it, but he is held accountable if he acts upon it."
The fourth interpretation:
2158 - al-Hasan b. Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq reported to us, saying: Hushaym said: al-Mughirah reported to me, from Ibrahim, who said: "It is a man who swears on a matter, then forgets."
The fifth interpretation:
2159 - My father narrated to us, he said: It reached me from Yahya b. Ayyub, from Ibn 'Ajlan, and 'Amr b. al-Harith, from Zayd b. Aslam, regarding "Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths," he said: "It is a man's saying: 'May Allah make me blind if I do not do such and such,' [or] 'May Allah expel me from my wealth if I do not come to you tomorrow.' So it is this."
The sixth interpretation:
2160 - My father reported to me, Abu al-Jumahir narrated to us, Sa'id b. Bashir narrated to us, Abu Bishr narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The unintentional oath (laghw al-yamin) is that you forbid what Allah has made lawful for you; that is what you are not required to provide expiation for." Abu Muhammad said: It was reported from Sa'id b. Jubayr the like of this.

قَوْلَيْهِ وَالْحَسَنِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَزُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى وَأَبِي مالك وعطاء الخرساني وَبَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَأَحَدِ قَولَيْ عِكْرِمَةَ وَحَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ وَالسُّدِّيِّ وَمَكْحُولٍ وَمُقَاتِلٍ وطاوس وقتادة والربيع بن أنس ونحيى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةَ، نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
٢١٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ، ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، عَنْ جابر، عن عطاء ابن أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: هُوَ قَوْلُ: لَا وَاللَّهِ، وَبَلَى وَاللَّهِ، وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ صَادِقٌ.
وَلا يَكُونُ كَذَلِكَ.

٢١٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ قَالَ: هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَحْلِفُ عَلَى الْمَعْصِيَةِ، يَعْنِي: أَلا يُصَلِّي، وَلا يَصْنَعِ الْخَيْرَ.
٢١٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، ثنا أَبُو بِشْرٍ وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ قَالَ: هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَحْلِفُ عَلَى الْمَعْصِيَةِ، فَلا يُؤَاخَذُ إِنْ تَرَكَهَا، وَلَكِنْ يُؤَاخَذُ إِنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا.
وَالْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ:
٢١٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ «١» قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَحْلِفُ عَلَى الشَّيْءِ، ثُمَّ يَنْسَى.
وَالْوَجْهُ الْخَامِسُ:
٢١٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ بَلَغَنِي عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ قَالَ: هُوَ قَوْلُ الرَّجُلِ: أَعْمَى اللَّهُ بَصَرِي إِنْ لَمْ أَفْعَلْ كَذَا وَكَذَا أَخْرَجَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْ مَالِي، إِنْ لَمْ آتِكَ غَدًا، فَهُوَ هَذَا.
وَالْوَجْهُ السَّادِسُ:
٢١٦٠ - أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: لَغْوُ الْيَمِينِ: أَنْ تُحَرِّمَ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ، فَذَلِكَ مَا لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ فِيهِ كَفَّارَةٌ. قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: وَرُوِيَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
