Abu Muhammad said: It was reported from Ibn 'Abbas, al-Sha'bi, al-Hakam b. 'Utaybah, Mujahid, al-Rabi' b. Anas, and al-Dahhak, something similar to that.

"Does he have the right to take her back?" He said: "No." He said: This was hard for the Bedouin. Sa'id said to him: "What would you do with a woman who does not believe in Allah and the Last Day?" He continued to discourage him from her until he became uninterested in her.

2194 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. Lahi'ah narrated to us, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "And the Last Day," meaning: And they believe in the unseen which contains the reward for deeds.

The saying of the Most High: "And their husbands have more right to take them back in that, if they wish for reconciliation."
