His saying, the Exalted: "And they will not grieve."
4502 - And by the same chain, from Sa‘id regarding His saying: "And they will not grieve," meaning: they will not grieve over death.
His saying, the Exalted: "They rejoice in a blessing from Allah and bounty."
4503 - Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Musa ibn Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, ‘Abbad ibn Mansur said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "They rejoice in a blessing from Allah and bounty, and that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers." He said: "Whoever is killed in the way of Allah is brought to the glad tidings of what has been prepared for him of good in the Garden, and he says: 'My brother, I left him upon the like of my deed; he is being killed now, so he will be brought to the like of what I have been brought to.' Then he rejoices in the Garden."
4504 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr Junayj narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: "They rejoice in a blessing from Allah and bounty, and that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers," because of what they witnessed of the fulfillment of the promise and the greatness of the reward.
His saying, the Exalted: "And that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers."
4505 - Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-A‘la narrated to us, by reading, Ibn Wahb informed us, Ibn Zayd narrated to me regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And they rejoice for those who have not yet joined them from those behind them," up to His saying: "And that Allah does not waste the reward of the believers." He said: "This verse has gathered all the believers, besides the martyrs. Seldom did Allah mention a bounty that He granted the Prophets, or a reward He gave them, without also mentioning what Allah has given the believers after them."
4506 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, ‘Abd Allah narrated to us, ‘Ata’ narrated to me, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr: "The believers," meaning: the truth-tellers.
His saying, the Exalted: "Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger."
4507 - Harun ibn Ishaq al-Hamdani narrated to us, ‘Abdah narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, from ‘A’ishah, who said: "Your two fathers are among those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had afflicted them," meaning: Abu Bakr and al-Zubayr.
4508 - Ahmad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahim al-Barqi narrated to us, ‘Amr ibn Abi Salamah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-‘Aziz, from Muhammad, meaning the nephew of al-Zuhri, from his uncle, from ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr that ‘Ubayd Allah
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
٤٥٠٢ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ فِي قَوْلُهُ: وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ يَعْنِي: لَا يَحْزَنُونَ لِلْمَوْتِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ
٤٥٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحْكَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْحَسَنَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَقَالَ: مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُقَدَّمُ إِلَى الْبُشْرَى إِلَى مَا قُدِّمَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَيَقُولُ: أَخِي تَرَكْتُهُ عَلَى مِثْلِ عَمَلِي، يُقْتَلُ الآنَ، فَيُقَدَّمُ عَلَى مِثْلِ مَا قُدِّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَسْتَبْشِرُ بِالْجَنَّةِ.
٤٥٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو زُنَيْجٌ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ الله لا يضيع أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِمَا عَايَنُوا مِنْ وَفَاءِ الْمَوْعُودِ وَعَظِيمِ الثَّوَابِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
٤٥٠٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قِرَاءَةً، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ زَيْدٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ: وَهَذِهِ الآيَةُ جَمَعْتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كُلَّهُمْ سِوَى الشُّهَدَاءِ، وَقَلَّمَا ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ فَضْلا ذَكَرَ بِهِ الأَنْبِيَاءَ، وَثَوَاباً أَعْطَاهُمْ إِلا ذَكَرَ مَا أَعْطَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ بَعْدَهُمْ.
٤٥٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى- ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ- عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَعْنِي: الْمُصَدِّقِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ
٤٥٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: إِنَّ أَبَوَيْكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ يَعْنِي: أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ.
