and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." Ja‘far ibn Muhammad said: ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib told me, "Do you know who this is? This is al-Khidr."
His saying, the Exalted: "So whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his] desire."
4610 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Ansari narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to me, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "A spot the size of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and all that is in it." Read, if you wish: "So whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his] desire."
4611 - My father narrated to us, ‘Amr ibn Rafi‘ narrated to us, Sulayman ibn ‘Amir narrated to us, from al-Rabi‘, who said: The last person to enter Paradise will be given light in proportion to how long he had been crawling, and he will remain in that light until he crosses the Sirat (the bridge). That is the meaning of His saying: "So whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his] desire."
His saying, the Exalted: "And the life of this world is not but enjoyment of delusion."
4612 - My father narrated to us, Qabisah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A‘mash regarding "And the life of this world is not but enjoyment of delusion," he said: The shepherd's provisions.

By Allah, other than Whom there is no god, it is about to vanish from its people, so take from this enjoyment the obedience of Allah—if you are able—and there is no power except through Allah.
4614 - Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa narrated to us, Harun ibn Hatim narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "The delusion," he means: the adornment of the world.
His saying, the Exalted: "You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves."
4615 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Musa ibn Muhkam narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, ‘Abbad ibn Mansur narrated to us, who said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves." He said: We are tested—by Allah—in our possessions and our selves.
