[The Second Aspect]
4657 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Ibn Abi Najih narrated to us, from Mujahid, who said: A servant is not considered among those who remember Allah much until he remembers Allah while standing, sitting, and lying down. Then Sufyan recited: "Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides."
4658 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas informed us, Yazid narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides": These are all your states, O son of Adam. Remember Allah while you are standing; if you cannot, then remember Him while you are sitting; and if you cannot, then remember Him while you are on your side. This is a facilitation and a lightening from Allah.
His saying, the Exalted: "And they give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], 'Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly.'"
4659 - My father narrated to us, Abu al-Jawza' Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, 'Abd al-Samad ibn 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, 'Abd al-Jalil ibn 'Atiyyah al-Qaysi narrated to us, Shahr ibn Hawshab narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Salam, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went out to his companions while they were contemplating the creation of Allah. He asked, "What are you contemplating?" They replied, "We are contemplating the creation of Allah." He said, "Do not contemplate [the essence of] Allah, but contemplate what Allah has created."
His saying, the Exalted: "Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers."
4660 - Muhammad ibn 'Ammar ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Mu'ammal narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Ibn Anas, regarding His saying: "Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him," he said: Whoever You make abide eternally in the Fire, You have disgraced him. It was also narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Qatadah similar to this.
4661 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu al-Rabi' narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, Juwaybir narrated to us, he said: I said to al-Dahhak, "What is your opinion regarding His saying: 'Whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him'?" He replied, "That is a disgrace for him."
His saying, the Exalted: "Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' so we have believed."
4662 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Dawud al-Hafari narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Musa ibn 'Ubaydah, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b, regarding His saying: "Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith," he said: It is the Book [the Qur'an].
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٤٦٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: لَا يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنَ الذَّاكِرِينَ كَثِيراً حَتَّى يَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ قَائِماً وَقَاعِداً وَمُضْطَجِعًا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ سُفْيَانُ: الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَاماً وَقُعُوداً وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ.
٤٦٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلَهُ: الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَاماً وَقُعُوداً وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ: وَهَذِهِ حَالاتُكَ كُلُّهَا يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، اذْكُرِ اللَّهَ وَأَنْتَ قَائِمٌ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَاذْكُرْهُ وَأَنْتَ قَاعِدٌ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَاذْكُرْهُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى جَنْبِكَ، يُسْرٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَتَخْفِيفٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تعالى: وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلًا
٤٦٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو الْجَوْزَاءِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الْقَيْسِيُّ، ثنا شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الله ابن سَلامٍ قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ، وَهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ: فِيمَ تُفَكِّرُونَ؟ قَالُوا: نَتَفَكَّرُ فِي خَلْقِ اللَّهِ: قَالَ: لَا تُفَكِّرُوا فِي اللَّهِ، وَلَكِنْ تَفَكَّرُوا فِيمَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا للظالمين من أنصار
٤٦٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا مُؤَمَّلٌ، ثنا حَمَّادُ، عْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عن ابن أَنَسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ قَالَ: مَنْ تُخَلِّدْ فِي النَّارِ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَقَتَادَةَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
٤٦٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ثنا جُوَيْبِرٌ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِلضَّحَّاكِ: أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَهُ: مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ؟ فَقَالَ: ذَلِكَ لَهُ خِزْيٌ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بربكم فآمنا
