Surah An-Nisa
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
His saying, the Exalted: "O mankind"
4712 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who said: regarding what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "O mankind" meaning: to both groups together, the disbelievers and the hypocrites.
His saying, the Exalted: "Fear your Lord"
4713 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported to us, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: "Fear your Lord": And worship Him.
His saying, the Exalted: "Who created you from a single soul"
4714 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul":
As for your creation from a single soul, it is from Adam, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. It was narrated from Mujahid, Abu Malik, Qatadah, and Muqatil the same.
His saying, the Exalted: "And created"
4715 - Through the same chain from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "And created from it its mate" he said: And made.
His saying, the Exalted: "From it"
4716 - And through the same chain from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "And created from it its mate" he said: Hawwa (Eve).
4717 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Harithi narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak: "And created from it its mate" he said: He created Hawwa from Adam, from the lower rib, and it is the lowest of the ribs.
His saying, the Exalted: "And created from it its mate"
4718 - My father narrated to us, Muqatil ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Abu Hilal, from Qatadah, from Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, regarding His saying: "And created from it its mate" he said: Woman was created from man, so He placed her desire in men; and man was created from the earth, so He placed his desire in the earth, so keep your women in check.
سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ
٤٧١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: فِيمَا حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَوْ سَعِيدُ ابن جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَيْ: لِلْفَرِيقَيْنِ جَمِيعاً مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ
٤٧١٣ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ: اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ: وَاعْبُدُوهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
٤٧١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ:
أَمَّا خَلْقُكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، فَمِنْ آدَمَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَأَبِي مَالِكٍ، وَقَتَادَةَ وَمُقَاتِلٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَخَلَقَ
٤٧١٥ - بِهِ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا قَالَ: وَجَعَلَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مِنْهَا
٤٧١٦ - وَبِهِ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا قَالَ حَوَّاءُ.
٤٧١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، عَنْ جُوَيْبِرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ: وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا قَالَ: خَلَقَ حَوَّاءَ مِنْ آدَمَ، مِنْ ضِلْعِ الْخُلْفِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ أَسْفَلِ الأَضْلاعِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا
٤٧١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُقَاتِلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هِلالٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ: وخلق مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا قَالَ: خُلِقَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ، فَجَعَلَ نَهْمَتَهَا فِي الرِّجَالِ، وَخُلِقَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ، فَجَعَلَ نَهْمَتَهُ فِي الأَرْضِ، فَاحْبِسُوا نِسَاءَكُمْ.
